Thank you for visiting my site. I always find it difficult to write an “About Page” about me. On one end I don’t want to say too much and come across as arrogant (which many would say I’m a natural at), and on the other, not say enough and fail to communicate anything about myself. But for whatever reason, you’re here, and I’ll try my best to make this worth your while…I guess if there’s anything that ties all my diverse activities together, the businesses, the social work, the art, the music, and writing, I would have to say it’s the word VALUE. I want to bring out value in everything I do, whether it’s for my shareholders, the people around me, such as those living in our communities, for an audience, or for anyone I interact with.

Let me end with one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite books, The Catcher in the Rye, which sort of summarizes what I want to do:

“What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff – I mean if they’re running and they don’t look where they’re going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That’s all I do all day. I’d just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it’s crazy, but that’s the only thing I’d really like to be.” – Holden Caulfield
